Telephone Patient Educator


To educate patients on the correct and appropriate way to wear and utilize our mobile cardiac outpatient telemetry device. Duties include providing patient education and maintaining excellent service levels.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct Patient Education sessions either in person or over the telephone. The Patient Education session consists of proper installation of the CardioNet system thorough education of patients on the device and its functions while maintaining excellent customer service levels to insure that patients have a positive image of CardioNet. (Maintain 95% or higher customer satisfaction rating in all measured areaas for Patient Education.)
  • Complete and submit appropriate post visit paperwork.
  • Complete Incident Reports as needed. Provide feedback/input to Patient Education Supervisor regarding equipment troubleshooting, customer service, and customer comments.
  • Attend/participate in scheduled conference calls/training/meetings within the Patient Education Department.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience in teaching or training.
  • Health-care background and experience working as a field employee beneficial.
  • Must be comfortable with computers, telephones, and electronic devices.
  • Team player, multi-tasker, organized, detailed oriented.
