Software Quality Assurance Engineer
CardioNet provides a new, integrated technology and service—mobile outpatient cardiac telemetry—which allows heartbeat-by-heartbeat, ECG monitoring, analysis and response, at home or away, 24/7/365.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and execute test case documentation based on project requirement documentation and design documentation.
- Responsible for regression testing, logging, tracking, and resolution verification of defects.
- Communicates effectively with members of software development and other project related groups to ensure project objectives are met.
- Performs analysis on release cycle data for inclusion in test reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BSEE, BSCE or equivalent is required.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred.
- 1-2 years experience in software testing is preferred.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle with some exposure to QA methodologies.
- Experience in writing and execution of test plans, test cases, and procedures is required.
- Experience with portable device testing required.
- Working knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulation, and previous FDA inspection experience preferred.
- Previous experience with ambulatory ECG systems is preferred.
- Detail oriented, with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a multi-disciplined development team from inception through product release is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead / mentor team members to achieve project goals.
- Capable of exercising independent judgment under minimum supervision.
